Facts I didn’t know about teeth
Many people have done crazy things to their mouth.
There is a young boy who can fit an entire baseball in his mouth. I was shocked and confused about how his mouth opens up so wide. I found that your jaw is controlled by a ball and socket, similar to your shoulder. When you open your mouth the jaw opens as well, but in this case the boy’s ball and socket has gone further back thus letting him open his mouth wider.
Many people have “pierced” their teeth. To pierce your teeth, they have to drill a hole that would cut nerves, and will never stop bleeding. It would also hurt tremendously. So if you ever see anyone who “pierced” their teeth it’s probably just a stick on gem.
The most famous quote “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” may have been proven wrong. If you eat 3 to 4 apples a day for many years, your enamel on your teeth could erode. Citric fruits and soda’s could also erode your enamel. It’s called Enamel Erosion.
There is an easier way to adopt Calculus. If you don’t brush your teeth for a really long time you get Calculus. It is where all the food you eat gets stuck on your teeth. Since you didn’t brush your teeth for a long time it can form a hard bridge. When the dentist takes it out, they might have to hammer it down with a special tool. During the process of hammering it down there are teeth that come out while removing the leftover particles.
The really expensive light whitening tooth tool is just quakery. It doesn’t do much, it’s just there for design appearance. The LED light supposedly whiten your teeth but in reality it takes at least 2 to 3 years for it to work. The dentist where I got all the information from said just stick to whitening strips.
A way to brush your teeth without brushing your teeth. Clearly by watching, their advertisement you can see that it doesn’t really brush your teeth, it is just a weird feeling. Just stick to brushing it with an electric toothbrush or even a normal toothbrush.
Always remember to keep your teeth clean and go to the dentist every 6 months! If you have braces, please follow the schedule of your dentist so that your braces can come off soon :)
