My thoughts on opening school later this year is that the school will be fully sanitized and will prevent students and teachers from falling sick. The schools might find it hard to place students at a distance of five feet apart as the classrooms are small and will not have sufficient space. According to a study by UNESCO, people under the age of 18 have a lower risk than adults of getting infected by COVID 19. If the teachers catch the virus there is a strong possibility that it will transfer to the students. Continuous monitoring of the teachers must be performed to quickly detect and isolate the teachers that are infected. The schools that are currently open are taking temperature every 1 hour. China and Japan have opened few schools. The main rule is to have 15 children in a class and not more. These schools are making the student clean their desk daily and requiring many more hygienic precautions. My conclusion is that schools are going to take the utmost precautions to keep an healthy environment and slowly go back to the routines prior to the pandemic. One of the biggest social gathering events is a school reunion. Serious consideration must be provided to alternate forms of education such as Shanti Niketan and ancient gurukulams where the whole school is outdoors and not stuffed in a room.

The recommendation that I would give for social gathering is to concentrate on personal health. Personal health includes wearing a mask, maintaining social distance in a public place and always sanitising your hands. Meeting place should be an open area where there are not many people and not a closed area where the virus can easily spread. For the event, make the list of people you have invited a short one for safety regulations. There are apps made by each country to help you learn about what to do and what not to do.

Using the app, we can identify the areas with low density of people at the time of the event.

There are many recommendations I would give for workplace improvements. The first one is to make a majority of the employees to work from home and only those handling physical parts are required to the office. We can add a special filter in the A/C to prevent bacteria from building up. Everyone who comes must have a mask and have a hand sanitizer. Companies must provide programs to improve the health of the employees by introducing mandatory exercise sessions, for example, yoga. We must have a quarterly check-up to make sure that every employee is healthy. The goal must be to improve the employees lifestyle and increase productivity of the company.
